MCA_ thermal decomposition product (2)

IR Spectra and X-ray diffraction images of MCA residue after decomposition at different temperatures, as shown in table 4-10 and table 4-11. The IR Spectra show that at 420 °c, the IR Spectra of the triazine ring are basically the same as that at room temperature. When the temperature reaches 450 °C, the IR Spectra of the triazine ring are changed, but at 500 °c, the characteristic peaks of 840cm-1 of the triazine ring can be seen, at 450 °C, the refraction lines of MCA 2θ=10.8、 11.8 moved up to 12.5 and 13.7, while the refraction lines of MCA 227.3 and 28.0 moved down to 25.2 and 27.1, which indicated that the lattice spacing increased with the increase of temperature, at 500 °C, however, the melamine cyanurate was broken down and the diffraction lines disappeared.
