IR spectra of MCA industrial products

Table 4_3 is the IR Spectra of MCA industrial products collected by the author.

Table 4-6 shows the nitrogen content, IR characteristic peak and activation energy of Melamine, cyanuric acid and melamine cyanurate. As can be seen from the data in the table, MCA has higher activation energy, and the MCA molecular melamine and cyanuric acid have extended hydrogen bond, so MCA is easy to reunite in the production and processing, which affects the use of melamine cyanurate.

From the change of IR characteristic peak in the table, it can be proved that the hydrogen atom on the Amino Group of Melamine and the carbonyl group of cyanuric acid form the hydrogen bond, which results in the red shift of the stretching vibration, that is, the characteristic peak of carbonyl group increases from 1723cm-1 to 1740cm-1.
