Regarding the fire retardant mechanism of melamine cyanurate(MCA)there was a physical fire retardant method called "sublimation heat absorption" by Fujino Fumio in Japan, that is, the surface temperature of high polymer materials was reduced by sublimation heat absorption of MCA and the air was isolated to achieve the purpose of fire retardant, this view was once widely accepted. There are also views that MCA's fire retardant effect on nylon is because it can accelerate nylon melt droplets, thereby taking away heat and combustibles. However, melamine cyanurate used for fire retardant nylon, because of high fire retardant efficiency, the amount of increased, and the commercial and theoretical research field has been widely paid attention to, so the research on its fire retardant mechanism also received attention.
