2.Alkaline process_ melamine cyanurate
According to the results of the author's study, the viscosity of melamine cyanurate suspension is the highest when the PH is close to 7, so it is difficult to filter. Therefore, the reaction under alkaline condition can also solve these problems, and Mg（OH）2 and other basic compounds regulate alkalinity. According to the author's research, the density of MCA in alkaline condition is about 5% higher than that in acidic and neutral condition.
3.Neutral process_ melamine cyanurate
In this case, the neutral process means that melamine and cyanuric acid are mixed in water without adding any acidic or alkaline substances, and the reaction takes place in the environment of the natural pH of the reactants, the initial pH of the system is about 6.5 when high purity raw material is used.
There are many reports on neutral process in patent literature. The process is mainly optimized by reaction temperature, time and feeding mode.
